This is a delicious coffee from the Planalto da Bahia region of Brazil. Peaberry coffee is a natural mutation of the coffee plant that results in the formation only one seed inside each cherry, creating a smaller rounder bean. This often results in a concentrated sweetness. Peaberries are sorted out from the standard seeds during processing.
After a couple of trial batches, our tasters were split. Some preferred this as a dark roast, others as a medium. So why not have both! This dark roast displays notes of milk chocolate, almond and brown sugar.
Process: Washed
